About the Company:
A defining moment
With decades of valuable industry experience behind him, Amir Novini left his position as vice president of marketing and product development at LumenX and set out to bring the world’s most advanced machine vision systems to the container industry. Amir and his wife, Manijeh, both entrepreneurs, self-financed the start up of Applied Vision in 1997. The company quickly grew into an international market leader in machine vision inspection technology.
A history of experience, reliability and success
Our engineering and manufacturing team members have been developing machine vision products since 1980. Consistently dedicated, we've innovated three generations of inspection technology and installed many thousands of successful solutions for clients all over the world.
A worldwide presence
In 2004, we built our 33,000-square-foot world headquarters in Akron, Ohio – a city that has been a longtime home to many of us. We also added three international offices in Singapore, Japan and Germany to better service our customers and meet their global needs.
